TTAB Posts June 2011 Hearing Schedule

The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board has scheduled four (4) oral hearings for the month of June, as listed below. The hearings will be held in the East Wing of the Madison Building, in Alexandria, Virginia. June 14, 2011 - 10 AM: In re Collen IP Intellectual Property Law, P.C., Serial Nos. 77513758 and 77513717 [Section 2(e)(1) refusals to register A BRAND NAME ADVISOR for "business consultation services, namely, product and marketing evaluation; advertising services, namely, creating corporate and product identity for others; creating trademarks for others" and A BRAND NAME LAW FIRM for "legal services"].

June 22, 2011 - 11 AM: In re Prosynthesis Laboratories, Inc., Serial No. 77902555 [Section 2(a) refusal of CHINA FREE and Design for intended use on "vitamin and mineral supplements," on the ground of disparagement].


June 28, 2011 - 11 AM: In re Shuffle Master, Inc., Serial No. 77394063 [Refusal to register THREE CARD POKER for “Entertainment services, namely, providing live games of chance in gaming establishments" on the ground of genericness].


June 30, 2011 - 12 PM: In re Staples The Office Superstore LLC, Serial No. 78411419 [Section 2(d) refusal to register ONE^.TOUCH for "non-electric staplers and hole punchers," on the ground of likelihood of confusion with the registered mark ONE-TOUCH for ring binders].
